- Why are you joining the SCOPE network?
- Because I still believe that education is the key for better days. Learning is a vast and unknown ocean of knowledge of which we as educators should not be afraid of, even though some tsunami may come against our beliefs, we still have to overcome all that may prevent us from succeeding in life, and provide our learners with what we were once taught. Besides, learning with technology and the Web 2.0 is much more exciting for both teachers and learners and that is what we should expect from now on. We do have to get acquainted with all that is going on in the world today to make a change in our students' lives.

- I am a Brazilian EFL/ESL teacher working in Concord, NC. I have been teaching for over ten years and I am passionate for what I do. Being a teacher has broaden my views and has made of me a better learner, indeed.
